Lombok Book Drive

What was our goal for this project?

We created a partnership with the Hrabars to bring books to kampung kids in Lombok. The Hrabars were a part of the BAIS community for 8 years out of the 14 years they were in Indonesia. Currently they are running a tourism company in Lombok that allows groups from America to visit villages and learn about the cultures and religions there. 

 

We received English and Indonesian book donations for children ages 4-18 from the BAIS community, which we organized and sent to the Hrabars to give the donated books to the communities in Lombok. We helped many kids to have access to good educational resources and fun books to read!
